Salzmann Radiators Pty Ltd is more than just a company—it is a family business. Founded over 75 years ago in Germany, we have built our reputation on precision, reliability and trust. What began as a small family operation has grown into an international business with more than 100 employees across Europe and Australia.

Meet our Managing Director & Owner
Marius is the driving force behind Salzmann Radiators Pty Ltd. A successful Management Consultant by profession and an entrepreneur at heart, he brings a rare mix of analytical precision, global perspective and forward-thinking leadership to the business.
Having lived in Germany, the U.S., New Zealand and Australia, Marius combines international insights with a deep understanding of local markets.
With a Master in International Business (MIB) and over a decade of consulting experience across New Zealand and Australia, he has advised leading organisations on remuneration, performance, strategy and growth. This background equips him with the expertise to lead Salzmann Radiators’ expansion while preserving the values that have defined the company for more than 75 years. His commitment to precision, reliability and trusted partnerships drives the business forward, while his fresh outlook ensures Salzmann Radiators Pty Ltd continues to meet the evolving needs of industry and defence clients.
As Managing Director, Marius blends family heritage with innovation. Under his leadership, the company is set for sustainable growth – building on tradition while shaping a global future.
History
FOUNDING
Bruno Salzmann founds the company in Singen (Germany).
1948
BEHR PARTNERSHIP
The company becomes a service partner of the manufacturer Behr, Stuttgart (Germany) and takes over the repair and sales of original spare parts in the field of engine cooling and air conditioning.
1968
AC EXPANSION
The refrigeration/air conditioning division is added to the range of services.
1972
1974
NEW HEADQUARTER
A second location is established: Salzmann Radiators expands production capacities with a new building in the southern German town of Rielasingen, becoming the new European headquarters.
ULTRASONIC INNOVATION
Due to the development of a special ultrasonic cleaning process for engine oil heat exchangers, a new line of business emerges.

NEW LEADERSHIP
After successfully graduating with a Master of Business Administration, Gerhard Salzmann joins the company.
PROCESS ENHANCEMENT
The ultrasonic cleaning process is further developed for aluminium radiators.
1993
2001
REPAIR DEVELOPMENT
Salzmann Radiators tests and develops a new process for the repair of compact aluminium radiators.
ISO CERTIFICATION
The DIN ISO 9001 certification is successfully completed for our European operations.

2007
CAPACITY EXPANSION
Due to high quality and increasing customer orders in the remanufacturing of charge air coolers, an extension is built at the headquarter to provide additional production capacity.
AUSTRALIAN EXPANSION
With a Master in International Business (MIB) and a successful career in management consulting spanning 10 years across the U.S., New Zealand and Australia, Marius Salzmann establishes the company's first international presence outside of Europe in Sydney (Australia) as
Salzmann Radiators Pty Ltd.
