What began as a small family business has grown into an international operation with more than 100 employees across Europe and Australia. Meet our Managing Director & Owner
Marius is the driving force behind Salzmann Radiators. A successful Management Consultant by profession and an entrepreneur at heart, he brings a rare mix of analytical precision, global perspective and forward-thinking leadership to the business.
Having lived in Germany, the United States, New Zealand and Australia, Marius combines international insights with a deep understanding of local markets.
With over a decade of consulting experience across New Zealand and Australia, he has advised leading organisations on remuneration, performance, strategy and growth. This background equips him with the expertise to lead Salzmann Radiators’ expansion while preserving the values that have defined the company for more than 75 years. As Managing Director, Marius blends family heritage with innovation.
His commitment to precision, reliability and trusted partnerships drives the business forward, while his fresh outlook ensures Salzmann Radiators continues to meet the evolving needs of industry and defence clients. Under his leadership, the company is set for sustainable growth – building on tradition while shaping a global future.

History
1948
Bruno Salzmann founds the company in Singen (Germany).
1968
The company becomes a service partner of the manufacturer Behr, Stuttgart (Germany) and takes over the repair and sales of original spare parts in the field of engine cooling and air conditioning.

1972
The refrigeration/air conditioning division is added to the range of services.
​
1974
A second location is established: Salzmann Radiators expands production capacities with a new building in the southern German town of Rielasingen, becoming the new European headquarter.

1980
Due to the development of a special ultrasonic cleaning process for engine oil heat exchangers, a new line of business emerges.

1983
After successfully graduating with a Master of Business Administration, Gerhard Salzmann joins the company.
​
1993
The ultrasonic cleaning process is further developed for aluminum radiators.
​
2001
Salzmann Radiators tests and develops a new process for the repair of compact aluminum radiators.
​
2004
The DIN ISO 9001 certification is successfully completed for European operations.
​
2007
Due to high quality and increasing customer orders in the repair of charge air coolers, an extension is built at the headquarter to provide additional production capacity.

2025
After a successful career in management consulting and having lived in the United States, New Zealand and Australia for 15 years, Marius Salzmann joins the company and establishes its first international presence outside of Europe in Sydney, Australia.
